Audubon Princeton Edition Prints

The double elephant folio size Princeton Edition facsimiles of the Birds of America were published in 1985 by the Princeton Audubon Ltd using direct camera color offset lithography which accounts for the exceptional quality and detail of these images (these prints show the characteristic dot-matrix pattern of offset lithography when examined with a 10x or 15x magnification loupe). Only a few select images from the Birds of America were published. Some larger images such as White Pelican and Wild Turkey (Male) were printed in a limited edition of 500 whereas the remaining images were printed in a limited edition of 1500. These prints can be identified by the embossed seal of the Princeton Audubon Limited at the lower right. This gallery contains a few fine examples of the Princeton Audubon edition prints. The full sheets measure approximately 39 1/2" x 26 1/2".
